To celebrate the launch of their new Thrill Seeker Extreme mascara, we are delighted to welcome Rimmel London on board as an Official Partner. F1® and beauty girlies, we’ve got you but before we tell you all our epic plans we’ve got to talk about THAT launch party....
Oh and their incredible mascara (is it bad to admit that I have one in each bag I own?...). Soo F1 cars go from 0 – 100mph in 2.6 seconds, and Rimmel’s Thrill Seeker Extreme mascara will take your lashes from 0-100 and get you 5x more volume in 2.6 seconds (depending how much of a rush you’re in). There was only one way to celebrate the launch of their BIGGEST mascara yet and that was taking over the entire F1 Arcade London venue...where speed met style.
Think HUGE podiums, makeup pit stops stations, Rimmel side mirrors, personalised Thrill Seeker hats and SO much more, it was epic.
Firstly, the compliments I got in the office the next day when I wore the mascara; Claudia said “it’s a gamechanger”. Admittedly I usually wear brown mascara, but the volume this gives me is what makes the Thrill Seeker Extreme mascara stand out. Plus have you seen the packaging?! I’m in love!
Throughout the venue, there were makeup stations set up – including some of Rimmel’s talented team to help you colour match their Multi Tasker Better Than Filters foundation.
So after making a pit stop to touch up my makeup and get race ready, I jumped in one of F1 Arcade’s full-motion sims and wow! Top makeup tip: the Rimmel team recommend swiping the mascara from root to tip in a zig zag motion – and layering up to increase the volume and length!
But don’t worry if you missed the launch event, the celebrations continue at F1 Arcade as for every ‘Thrill Lap’ mocktail you purchase in London or Birmingham, you get a free Thrill Seeker Extreme Mascara.
The mocktail itself was delicious; a sweet fusion of raspberry, lemon and a hint of ginger. This is the opposite of the usual overly sweet mocktails and it definitely fueled me for a night of posing on the podium, sim racing and dancing (although I’m only good at one of those three things....).
Rimmel took over the whole venue with legendary DJ, Billie Jean, playing bangers all night, flags flying high, personalised hat stand – I went low key with my initials but imagine the fun you could have. So if you haven’t already, pop in to the London or Birmingham venue to try the ‘Thrill Lap’ mocktail, take a pic for social and tag us (@f1arcade) and Rimmel London (@rimmellondon). See all you thrill seekers soon!
