Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1® Story

It is a story and season widely talked about within Formula 1 but now as fans, Disney+ is giving us exclusive access to behind the scenes footage and interviews so that we can be taken on the journey of how Brawn GP won the World Championship in their first and only season despite being understaffed and underfinanced.

It is an unbelievable story with two characters at its heart: Ross Brawn, the engineering genius leading the team and designing the car and British F1 driver Jenson Button driving it to victory. In this four-part documentary series led by film star and Formula 1 fan Keanu Reeves, witness the stories of the people who were there on the track, in the garage and in the boardroom.

The filmmakers were granted access to Formula 1's broadcast archives, including unseen footage, to tell the story of such a historical season as well as contemporary interviews from key players like Brawn, Button, Rubens Barrichello and team CEO Nick Fry. This series covers the struggles of Brawn GP including the court case that threatened to take the car off the grid but also highlights a remarkable human story that resulted in a truly incredible result.
