The New Alternative to Go Karting

An Alternative to Go Karting

F1 Arcade, the greatest alternative to Go Karting, especially if you are in London or Birmingham, it’s a no brainer. The food, the experience, the ease of access, the accessibility for all, the thrill. F1 Arcade has it all.

It isn’t even just me that thinks it, Sanjay has pretty much qualified as a Formula One driver after their visit.

There is a seat at Mercedes up for grabs and I could probably fill it after my stellar performance.” You don’t get that sort of experience driving around 900m of tarmac or indoor karting.

We are just getting started, over 400,000 people visited in our first year and as we head to USA we can’t wait to convert more of you to F1 Racers. Thrashing F1 cars around Silverstone, Zandvoort and Spa, F1 Arcade is the best place for a visit with friends, a date, a work social or celebration.

F1 Arcade London is located next to St Paul’s, with easy access via the tubes or Thameslink. In Birmingham we are in Paradise Square – the trams deliver you almost to our door. Getting to F1 Arcade is so much easier than traipsing around looking for an old karting track, but more importantly getting home from F1 Arcade is a lot easier than getting back in a car after driving / crashing the karts.

Better than Go Karting

F1 Arcade has the thrill of racing Formula 1 cars, without the risk of racing at 200mph, or the go karting risk of crashing at 45mph. We also don’t have the customary potholes that come with the old school Karting tracks around the UK – take those on at your own peril, and don’t forget your rib protection if you do.

Carlos agrees with me as well “If you want crash in safety. Come here.

I am going to put my neck on the line and say it’s a lot more entertaining to watch your friend flip a Formula 1 car at F1 Arcade than it is to see your work colleague crash head first into those barriers. That hurts. Laughing at your friends is probably the highlight of any activity isn’t it? I promise you, watching them take the first corner too fast and crashing straight into Lando Norris is very entertaining.

Moving away from the risk, what happens if you are in your karting suit – those classic red and black ones, and need the loo or fancy a quick bite to eat. Not as accessible as scanning our QR codes and ordering a couple of halloumi fries, accompanied by box box box cocktail – even a refreshing G&T to recover from the high speed corners at Spa. I don’t know a go karting track in the centre of London or Birmingham that has Tiger Prawn & Baby Squid flatbreads on the menu. All this without the diesel fumes to cover the mouth watering smells of our tacos.

Racing accessible for all

Admittedly I am biased, but hear me out on this one. F1 Arcade really is for everyone. From a first date, to a family trip out with your dad or even for young family – everyone can jump in a sim and enjoy it. I don’t know how popular I would be as a babysitter taking 7 year old Jonny to the karting track when he can barely reach the pedals, but F1 Arcade has all the thrills and spills without the worry from his mum and dad, or Granny and Grandad.

Adrien stepping up to prove my point, “Very nice spot for a good time with friends. Kids, adults, guys or girls, every one will have fun. Food is good and the service was excellent. The F1 game is very fun both for first time player and more advanced players.
