F1® Arcade is coming to Chicago

The world’s first official Formula 1® hospitality concept makes its Chicago debut in River North, introducing a rooftop experience and marking a major milestone for the brand’s U.S. expansion.

Chicago, Illinois (February 12, 2026) - F1® Arcade, the world’s first official Formula 1® hospitality concept, is officially coming to Chicago. Set to open this summer at 1 West Grand Avenue, previously Rock Bottom Brewery, the venue marks F1® Arcade’s highly anticipated arrival in one of the country’s most influential food, nightlife, and culture capitals, joining the growing lineup of new bars in Chicago. F1® Arcade is now accepting inquiries for private events and large group bookings at its upcoming River North location.

Designed to match Chicago’s energy, ambition, and competitive spirit, F1® Arcade Chicago will deliver an elevated social racing experience that blends the glamour of Formula 1® with the city’s renowned hospitality scene. From first-timers to seasoned fans, guests will race on cutting-edge simulators across the world’s most iconic Formula 1® circuits, from the Las Vegas Strip Circuit to the Circuit of the Americas, all without leaving Downtown Chicago.

For the first time ever, F1® Arcade will introduce a rooftop experience, making Chicago the deputy city for this new chapter of the brand, bringing bold new energy to rooftop bars in Chicago. The rooftop terrace will serve as a standout destination for warm-weather socializing, skyline views and late-night energy, positioning F1® Arcade as a must-visit venue for any occasion.

Inside, the space is designed for all-day and night fun, anchored by F1® Arcade’s signature Octane Bar on the main floor. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, and the brand’s popular zero-proof ‘Designated Driver’ mocktails, offering full flavor without alcohol.

Celebrating Chicago’s creativity and bold flavor profile, the venue will feature an exclusive menu of Chicago-inspired specialty cocktails curated by Netflix Drink Masters champion LP O’Brien, cementing its place among the most exciting new cocktail bars in Chicago. The food menu pairs globally inspired dishes with elevated shareable favorites, including Wagyu Beef Sliders and dramatic Seafood Towers, making F1® Arcade Chicago a destination for group dining, celebrations, and private events.

Providing an immersive and social experience unlike any other, the venue houses 70 full-motion racing simulators (designed in conjunction with Formula 1®), allowing guests to experience the thrill of being behind the wheel of a Formula 1® car. As home to official Formula 1® Watch Parties, F1® Arcade is the only place in the country where guests can watch a Grand Prix™ and race on an iconic track at the same time. Featuring multiple game modes, each simulator will allow guests to race in team-based groups, or individually, as well as offering a range of skill settings, from Rookie to Elite, making it accessible to all ages.
