The Story Behind Our New F1® Arcade Simulators

At F1® Arcade, we’re known for redefining the boundaries of experiential entertainment and social gaming, and our latest generation of F1 Arcade Simulators represents a major leap forward in how we deliver adrenaline-fuelled racing to our guests.

What we’ve created goes beyond updates, and is the result of intensive design, engineering, and sustainability efforts aimed at making our simulators stronger, smarter, and more scalable than ever before.

In just over two years, we’ve brought hundreds of F1 Arcade Simulators online across our global estate, a feat involving thousands of high-spec gaming components, over 150 tons of equipment, and nearly 3,000 hours of hands-on installation at just one of our locations.

The logistics behind creating a world-class feel to every location, consistent racing experience across continents has been no small task. That journey inspired the evolution of our next-gen simulators, designed to reduce complexity, improve quality, and enhance scalability, all without compromising the core racing feel that defines F1 Arcade.

Creating a Smarter Design to Fit in More Racing Action

Our new F1 Arcade Simulators have been reengineered with a more space-efficient design, allowing us to fit 20% more units in just 8% more space. This means, depending on layout, we can offer 10% more racing opportunities within the same venue footprint, boosting capacity without expanding square footage, allowing us to welcome more racers in all groups and sizes.

This smarter layout isn’t just better for guests – it's a win for our operations team too, with simpler maintenance and installation processes, and significantly stronger structural components like our monitor mounts. Yes, one of our engineers actually stood on one–and no, it didn’t budge an inch!

Taking a Step Towards a Sustainable Future

A key feature of this new generation is portability. Thanks to a lighter-weight build, these simulators can now support pop-up events and mobile activations, unlocking new opportunities for immersive racing experiences beyond our physical locations. Even more exciting? The new bodywork is manufactured using a carbon-negative process, powered by 100% renewable energy in the UK. All packaging used is fully recyclable, the facility is fully electric, and the production process even includes reuse of shipping crates, minimising environmental impact at every stage.

We’re already looking ahead: future batches will be constructed using a 70% plant-based polyurethane, as part of our transition to even more sustainable materials, and yes, they’ll be vegan-certified simulators.

Crafted to Perfection

Precision matters, especially in racing. Each simulator shell is CNC-machined with tolerances down to 0.05%, then hand-finished and hand-painted to exacting standards. In fact, the finish quality exceeds that of many luxury car brands, but these simulators are made to be raced, not parked.

They’re assembled just down the road with our key supplier Axsim, where the bodywork is created, at a dedicated facility built specifically for this production line. That close-knit supply chain ensures both quality and consistency, vital for scaling at speed.
